Counsellor & Psychotherapist, Sydney

I work with people at some of life's most difficult thresholds — grief, serious illness, dying, and the complex emotional reality that surrounds end of life. My approach is grounded, warm, and deeply personal.

About Olivia

Olivia Andrews is a PACFA Clinical Registrant (Masters level) specialising in grief, bereavement, palliative mental health, and end-of-life counselling in Sydney

Olivia works at the intersection of mental health, grief, and end-of-life care. She supports people through some of life's most significant and difficult experiences — grief and bereavement, terminal illness, palliative care, decline, dying, and the complex emotional terrain around end of life.

This includes people facing their own diagnosis or decline, as well as families and loved ones navigating anticipatory grief, aged care transition, and bereavement.

Her approach is grounded, warm, and relationally oriented — meeting each person where they are with patience, honesty, and deep respect for their experience.

The narrative & biographical dimension

Alongside her clinical training, Olivia brings a background in biography, storytelling, and life review. This informs a distinctive strand of her work — helping people reflect on their lives, maintain a sense of identity and meaning during illness and decline, and feel genuinely witnessed. This is not a separate service, but woven throughout the practice.

Experience in death care

Olivia also brings lived experience as a funeral director and death care consultant. This background deepens her understanding of what families and individuals face around dying and death, and informs the depth of her clinical work. Llumus Care is a psychotherapy practice — not a funeral service.

If you'd like to talk, I'd welcome hearing from you.
